Event Photography

We capture memorable images of life’s important events, activities, and experiences. We offer formal, editorial, and candid photography-and-video coverage of events of all sizes.
Life events
We provide coverage of weddings, engagements, christenings, bar and bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries, charity and social events, and other occasions. This includes ceremonies, portraits, receptions, toasts, parties, dances, balls, meals, banquets, presentations, performances, venues, details, behind-the-scenes, and other coverage.
For Individuals
We provide coverage of everyday activities, hobbies, family gatherings, family meals, get-togethers, sporting events, bar-b-que’s, sing-alongs, dining out, and other occasions.
For organizations
For commercial and institutional clients, we provide coverage of product announcements, presentations, trade shows, meetings, conferences, corporate events, sponsorships, sporting events, graduations, commencements, hospitality and dining experiences, and other events.
Approach
We’ll work with you to identify the scope of your event, the type and style of coverage you’re interested in, and a shot list that details the coverage you need and includes:
- Formal coverage: Key shots during the ceremony and portraits of couples, family, bridal parties, friends, and other groups.
- Editorial coverage: Pre-planned shots of moments before and after the ceremony, including preparation and behind-the-scenes shots and other moments of interest to you.
- Environment and details, including venue, grounds, decor, catering, floral arrangements, and objects.
- Candid coverage, including individual and group environmental portraits and general candid coverage of the event.
Based on your needs, we’ll suggest a production approach and team. For smaller assignments, this will be a single photographer. Larger events can benefit from drawing on additional or more specialized resources. You can find our general rate card here.
Event Packages
All-inclusive packages start at just $450, including local transportation expenses
Includes
- Review of client materials
- Preproduction call
- One-hour session at your event
- All full-sized, photographer-approved images as raw files and color-graded jpeg files – Delivered within three days of your shoot via a private gallery.
- Two lightly retouched photos – Delivered within one week of your selection.
- Estimated charges for 2 1/2 hours travel, loading, and setup, and transportation expenses of $100. Your final charges, based on actual time and expenses, will be higher or lower depending on the distance of the location from our studio.
- Secure storage of all images for 12 months
Usage rights
- Final retouched images released by Contractor: Perpetual, non-transferable, non-commercial
rights to view, print, distribute, and publish. 24-month, non-transferable, commercial use within Northern California only. Renewable at $10/image/year thereafter. Excludes modification. Editorial usage requires attribution.
- All images: Perpetual, non-transferable, non-commercial rights to view and print. Excludes modification, distribution, and publication rights.
